Insects invites you onto the fully immersive VR simulator, Birdly, to experience the vicissitudes and dangers of life on the wings of a butterfly. Try to sneak past a huge bird unnoticed. Outrun the competition to the vital food from a flower. Tack between grasses and plants, overcoming gusts of wind. The life of an insect hangs by a thread every day but their contribution to the planet's ecosystem is invaluable. What will happen if their number continues to decline as rapidly as it is now?
For Birdly Insects, the Kevuru Games team created ultra-realistic 3D models of birds, insects, and plants. The experience is designed to convey to the community the importance of insects and instill a careful, respectful attitude towards their lives. As a highlight of the special exhibition “Insects – secret heroes” at the BirdLife nature center in Neerach and BirdLife traveling exhibition “Take off for Biodiversity”, it is traveling to about 50 locations in Switzerland throughout 2022.
