The first of two trailers for Persona 5 Royal, the "Take Over" trailer would announce the release of the beloved game for the first time on PC, Xbox and Switch. Our task was to ease viewers into the story and characters with minimal but effective storytelling, and to build up hype and excitement for the upcoming release. Persona 5 is a difficult game to describe in short format to non-familiar gamers, but through tight game capture, stylish motion graphics, and just enough storytelling, we brought in gamers from all corners of the world to discover something new and exciting, and quite possibly their new favorite game.

The Launch Trailer was the culmination of all the excitement leading up to release. Our mission was to create a dazzling and exciting trailer to hit the apex of the campaign, pulling in gamers around the world to join in the celebration. Though it was a challenge finding new ways to frame a rerelease of a game fans know inside and out, we created a fan-favorite trailer that ATLUS has described as "the best Persona trailer we've seen." This trailer was built from the ground up as a love letter to the entire Persona franchise.

As we were still living in the excitement of post-launch, we received a once in a lifetime request to take our trailer and format it for the world's biggest and highest resolution curved LED screen in Times Square. We also got the unique opportunity to animate the official Persona 5 Royal key art, which would occupy the left side of the screen and keep the logo visible throughout. While cutting down and formatting for such a large screen was no easy task, seeing our work literally larger than life was nothing short of a beautiful moment for all of us. We had the attention of gamers already, but now the Phantom Thieves had the rest of the world too.
