Deep Unreal Engine (DUE) is a next-generation real-time game engine designed for advanced interactive simulations and games with AAA graphical quality. Shadowing techniques include exponential shadow maps, percentage-closer soft shadows (PCSS), Signed Distance Field (SDF), and contact shadows; ambient occlusion is achieved via both SSAO and RTAO. Materials in DUEngine are powered by a physically based shading (PBS) system with support for complex effects like subsurface scattering, anisotropic highlights, clear coat layering, and dynamic weathering. AI-generated material maps and GAN-based texture reconstruction allow environments to evolve intelligently with lighting, weather, and time. The real-time path tracing module, supported by deep learning denoisers, brings offline-quality rendering into live scenes for architectural previews, film pre-visualization, or ultra-high-fidelity game cinematics.
